| Capabilities | | VT Fitzroy provides a comprehensive range of specialist mechanical and electrical engineering and repair services to the NZ Defence Force and other Military organisations in the region. The Company is a joint venture between VT Group plc (UK) and Fitzroy Engineering Group (New Plymouth, NZ) and is able to call on the corporate knowledge and extensive technical resources of both parent companies to assist with developing solutions to complex problems. The Company has at its disposal NZ largest drydock facility. Capabilities include ship repair (military and commercial) with well equipped workshops, technical services and design (design agent for the RNZN), Systems Engineering, Project Management, one of the largest calibration laboratory's in the country, Through-Life-Support and general engineering services. VT Fitzroy specialises in the design, installation and repair of communications and security equipments, radio, radar, underwater acoustics, and test instruments as well as offering repair services for diesel engines, electrical systems, generators and general maritime products. |
